Aiden Lyon

BAppSc (MedSc) Hons, MBBS, FRACP
After growing up in Ballina on the Northern Rivers, Aiden moved to Brisbane to complete his undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) with Honours at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Following this, he completed his postgraduate medical training at Griffith University on the Gold Coast then continuing his advanced training in Gastroenterology at Gold Coast University Hospital, the Princess Alexandra Hospital, and fellowship year at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, focusing on quality in endoscopy and colonoscopy and special interest in endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). Aiden continues to be actively involved with teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, with an appointment with the University of Queensland and Griffith University as a Senior Lecturer and an active member of the Basic Physician Training Committee at the Gold University Hospital and Clinical Supervision for the FRACP.
