Ellie van der List

Dr Ellie van der List studied medicine at the University of Sydney before returning to Brisbane to work at the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she completed her Basic Physician Training. She has gained valuable experience working in the gastroenterology departments of Mater, Logan, Royal Brisbane and Women’s’ Hospital during her advanced training and is currently completing a hepatology fellowship at PAH. Ellie has a keen interest in medical education having taught and examined medical students through the University of Queensland and has been involved in RACP exam preparation.

Outside of her medical career, Ellie enjoys baking sourdough bread and spending time with her family, including her toddler, greyhound, and flock of chickens.
