Lulu Zhang

Dr Lulu Zhang graduated from the University of Queensland with a MBBS/BSc, and completed her basic physician training and first two years of Gastroenterology training at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. She then returned to Brisbane to complete her final year at the QEII Jubilee Hospital. Her interest in advanced luminal interventional endoscopy has led to a clinical fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for 2024. Beyond clinical medicine, Lulu has been actively involved in research, teaching, and advocacy throughout her career. Lulu has published in peer-reviewed journals including within the field of pancreatic cancer diagnosis, and her recent research has been recognised at national and international gastroenterology conferences. Lulu has held academic roles at both the University of Sydney and the University of Queensland. Lulu’s commitment to advocacy led to her selection for the Northern Sydney Leadership Development Program. Lulu hopes to broaden her experience by seeking an international Advanced Endoscopy fellowship for 2025.
